Wyle LabsJES Tech provides Wyle Laboratories (Wyle) support in the following areas:

Functional support in scientific research disciplines
In partnership with Wyle, NASA and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, JES Tech plays an integral part of NASA’s Bed Rest Project (BRP). As humans spend ever increasing time in space, it is essential to understand the effects of low gravity on the human body. The BRP seeks to define these effects and develop countermeasures to secure safe and healthy environments for our Astronauts. This work is critical to the achievement of President Bush’s vision for space exploration, to return to the moon and to survive the three-year trip to Mars and back.

JES Tech provides supervision and personnel for the Human Test Subject Facility at NASA Johnson Space Center, recruiting Voluntary Research Participants for the BRP as well as recruiting all Test Subjects for Studies conducted at JSC.JES Tech hires, trains and manages Study Monitors who are responsible for observation of BRP study participants 24 hours a day over the duration of the 115-day studies.Additionally, JES Tech maintains a fully trained and qualified pool of on-call Registered Nurses to meet the research needs of the various scientific laboratories at NASA JSC.Personnel services in logistics and mail

Genesys Works The objectives of the Genesys, ITS program are, at the core, the same as the JES Tech mission: to promote economic development and employment growth in low-income communities.

Genesys, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit information technology services provider, trains and employs underprivileged high school students to perform computer services. With a rotational program model, Genesys is in fact an incubator of IT professionals. The Genesys two-year program works in conjunction with the technology programs of established high schools that serve economically-disadvantaged areas.

Genesys provides actual employment to students during non-school hours. Students work either at the Genesys Technology Work Center or are placed at major corporations such as United Space Alliance, LLC, The Boeing Company, Reliant Energy, and Shell. Employment starts at the entry level of the IT services market and gives students the skills, opportunities, and support to advance in the IT profession.

Genesys services include PC installation and moves, PC repair, desktop support, and website design. With a nonprofit pricing model, Genesys is able to offer services at highly competitive rates. Genesys draws both small and large-scale contracts from corporations who see not only the impact they can have on our young people but also the value they obtain by using the services Genesys provides.

The Genesys program has a significant long-term effect on its students. By the end of the program, students are engaged in a professional career track and have experienced, first-hand, the positive effects that continuing education has on their standard of living. With this experience and knowledge, students set much higher goals for themselves and perceive the value in higher education. With their new job skills and certifications, they are able to afford it.

JES Tech and Genesys Works, Inc. have been working side by side since 2003. For more information about the Genesys program, please contact Rafael Alvarez, President, Genesys ITS. Phone: 713.341.5777 ext 222 or visit www.genesysworks.com.

SAIC - JES Tech PartnerSafety Panel Administration
The Safety Panel Administration section provides administrative, data management, and technical writing support to the Safety and Mission Assurance contract SAIC has with NASA Station, Shuttle, and Constellation Program offices. Administrative support consists of scheduling meetings, arranging conference room facilities, setting agendas for meetings, tracking action items, and communicating meeting plans (and changes of plans) with all participants. Data management support consists of receiving data packages from meeting participants, cataloging the data, making it available (via email attachment or posting to a website), and archiving data that is not current but still part of the NASA knowledge base. Technical writing support consists of attending meetings to record minutes and action items assigned in the meeting and editing/providing configuration management for documents that will form the basis of NASA's safety and mission assurance requirements.

Quality Assurance Record Centers Clerks
The Quality Assurance Record Centers provide updates and maintenance of quality records relating to the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs located at the NASA Johnson Space Center.  Records include ten (10) shipping and receiving documents, and three (3) Work Authorization documents.  In addition to maintaining hard copy records, the QARC maintain an electronic database specific to Johnson Space Center which enables searching and sorting of records. There are seven (7) record center locations at Johnson Space Center to support multiple divisions.  This is done by providing tracking and maintenance of the quality records associated with the divisions and their projects, including generating project reports and review of hardware and software status. The record centers keep two (2) years plus the current year’s physical documentation in the centers and archive previous year documents to Federal archives in Fort Worth, Texas.  QARC averages 43,000 documents per year.  Extensive metrics are processed to maintain efficiency and accuracy for each center and clerk.

JES Tech - Core CompetenciesJES Tech - Employment OpportunitiesJES Tech - Awards and RecognitionJES Tech - DirectionsJES Tech - Employee Login

“JES Tech performed exceptionally well under this effort. They went out of their way to accommodate specific and sometimes difficult requests regarding benefits and timely support. They also actively participated in negotiations of rates and employee benefits, going as far as possible to offer solutions and seeking ways to devise workable resolutions every step of the way. Both their reporting and invoicing were accurate and handled expeditiously, meeting required submittal dates. Their willing attitude and accommodating approach to support all standard and unusual requirements (when possible) makes them a unique, service-oriented subcontractor in my opinion. They also have superior understanding of contracting methodology and business processes, and they take a practical approach to proactively support all contractual requirements. I strongly recommend JES Tech for a service-type effort, and I am convinced they could handle just about any type of contracting effort presented to them. They were truly an asset to fulfilling our obligations to our NASA JSC Customer.”
-John Espinosa, Johnson Engineering Subcontract Administrator, Past Performance Questionnaire, March 16, 2004
